Introduction : The Galaxy S23+ is the Plus model of Samsung’s flagship ‘S’ series smartphone with top specs and features in the current market. Samsung offers it’s best in this lineup for us.

S23+ has a solid build quality where Samsung uses the latest glass protection on both the front and back with an armor aluminum frame which is premium as well. The design is a very subjective thing, but in my opinion, it’s very minimal and beautiful. The matte finishing back glass is the most gorgeous part of this Galaxy design. But this flagship has a very similar camera housing to Samsung’s mid-range lineup, which is the only drawback of this design. S23+ is a nice to hold device because of weight distribution, medium size, and simplicity!

Samsung uses a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display here, which is almost perfect. This is an almost bezel-less flat display with a very small punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. Here, I should say nothing if you just see the specs of this display. Just fantastic! But they should use a QHD display like the Ultra model, which can improve the PPI that is currently below 400. Otherwise, I have no complaints about this display at all.

This plus size flagship has the mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen 2, which is the most powerful processor across the Android market. The phone will get very little warm when you use it for heavy tasks and the cooling is good here. The Galaxy S23+ is going to receive four years of Android upgrades and five years of security updates. Currently, One UI is one of the popular user interfaces because of it’s necessary features and responsiveness. The loudspeaker testing score of this smartphone is also decent enough.

The triple camera setup has all the necessary sensors. The color tone of the Samsung camera is very eye-catching for general people. You can have social media ready photos and videos from this S23+. This phone can take outstanding portrait photos. The telephoto camera has 3x optical zoom and up to 30x, which isn’t high-end but good enough. Now, the video quality has improved a lot, where it can be comparable with a latest iPhone 14+ easily. You can shoot up to 8k 30 fps video from the primary camera and 4k 60 fps from the selfie camera. This camera output doesn’t have any identical difference from it’s Ultra variant, which is great. Overall, it’s a solid performer camera setup for 2023.

Samsung offers a real plus in the battery sector after the display on this model from their base S23. This decent battery capacity is expected because of the size. But here you can see a tiny capacity increase from S22+ but a massive backup improvement for the new power-efficient processor. S23+ has a good combination of three types of charging but the wired 45w charging isn’t as efficient as the 25w. However, you can see the charging speed data, which is average.

S23+ has almost all of the necessary features for a smartphone in 2023. The fingerprint sensor is super accurate and fast as well. Samsung Dex is an exclusive feature only for it’s flagship lineup, where you can switch your smartphone to a desktop by wired or wirelessly. You also get the Ultra Wideband support here. This phone has IP68 water or dust resistance, where you have no more fear from water. The stereo sound system is also decent here.

Suggestion : If you want to buy a Samsung flagship smartphone only with a flat display, then the Samsung Galaxy S23+ is a good choice. It’s almost a perfect flagship smartphone in 2023. This S23+ provides the good but “most confusing” deals beside the base model and Ultra model of the lineup.
